Everyone has a right to live without violent conflict

The Foundation for Peace and Humanitarian Dialogue (FPHD) is a pioneering non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting sustainable peace and security and enhancing humanitarian support to several fragile African states entrapped in armed conflict and humanitarian crises. The organisation supports conflict resolution by empowering the community to promote peace in conflict-affected regions. It focuses on evidence-based research, advocacy and capacity building.

FPHD serves as a Humanitarian Observatory for The Hague Humanitarian Studies Centre (HSC) at the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University in the Netherlands, where we addressed pressing security and humanitarian concerns.

Our vision is to A peaceful and resilient Africa, where communities are empowered to resolve conflicts, uphold security, and thrive in the face of humanitarian challenges, fostering a continent of harmony and sustainable development.

At Fphd, our mission is to foster sustainable peace, security, and humanitarian support in fragile African states by empowering communities, conducting evidence-based research, advocating for peacebuilding, and enhancing local capacities to resolve conflicts and mitigate crises.
